March is Social Work Month

NCSS is proud of the care given by all of the social workers throughout the agency and those who are integrated into community partner organizations.

We also realize that you’ve dealt with increased challenges since the onset of the pandemic.

We want to thank you for everything that you do every day.

Take a moment to recognize your coworkers this month and thank them!

Social workers stand up for millions of people every day. These include people who are experiencing devastating illnesses and mental health crises, our veterans, children, families and communities. Yet many people still misunderstand who social workers are and the invaluable contributions they bring to society.

Every day social workers act as advocates, champions and leaders who make our community a better place to live. This campaign will educate the public about the contributions of social workers and give social workers and their allies tools they can use to promote their profession.
