Vocational Service Coordinator

Are you looking to shape young minds and help students obtain the knowledge and skill necessary to be successful and satisfied with their futures after high school? If so, Soar Learning Center is seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual for the position of Vocational Service Coordinator.

The Vocational Service Coordinator will plan, organize, and implement vocational services and career development activities for the Soar Learning Center, a state-approved independent school serving children and youth with academic, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges. The major goals of this position are to assist students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and social challenges in developing an understanding and respect for the diversity of the world of work, increasing their awareness of their personal characteristics, interests, aptitudes, and skills, and understanding the relationship between school performances and future choices and opportunities.

It is essential that the Vocational Service Coordinator provides programming that assists students in developing a positive attitude toward employment and obtaining the skills necessary in making the transition from school to work.
