Senior Behavior Interventionist

The School-Based Autism Team is searching for a Senior Behavior Interventionist (BI) to join their clinical team! Senior Behavior Interventionists act as a support line for Behavior Interventionists who work 1:1 with clients embedded within designated public schools in Franklin and Grand Isle counties.

Senior Behavior Interventionist responsibilities include:

  • Providing substitute coverage for 1:1 Behavior Interventionists
  • Supporting new staff as a part of NCSS’ Mentorship Program
  • Implementing behavior plans written by Autism Behavior Consultants
  • Giving feedback to and modeling for Behavior Interventionists while supporting and training on interventions and data collection
  • Providing behavioral support during crises
  • Collaborating with NCSS and school staff as well as families to provide comprehensive supports to clients age 4-22 with Neurodevelopmental disabilities

In addition to implementing the technical components of and demonstrating knowledge of the theory of Applied Behavior Analysis, this position is also responsible for promoting and modeling the mission and values of the NCSS community. This team embraces the philosophy of Lencioni’s Team Dysfunctions curriculum and actively works to incorporate it into all daily work practices.
