IT Specialist

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is looking for an IT Specialist to join our technical team serving 500+ staff, spanning across multiple campuses, to support the fluid operation of critical network infrastructure. We are seeking a talented individual that is interested in working for an organization that is person-focused and driven to meet the diverse needs of Northwestern Vermont. Qualified candidates will be client oriented, organized, solution focused and have a strong desire to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities include:

  • Windows server and maintenance
  • Active Directory and Group Policy administration
  • Office 365 maintenance
  • Cloud platform administration and maintenance
  • Review and troubleshooting of agency devices and technical inventory
  • Implementing software and patch updates
  • Cisco architecture troubleshooting and maintenance
  • General network flow troubleshooting
  • Utilizing camaraderie, personality, humor, and honesty to be yourself

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Computer Technology or equivalent course of study with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Windows based environment, or equivalent combination of education & experience. Windows Server, Cisco architecture, and Active Directory administration is preferred, along with familiarity of Office 365 and cloud environments. Interested?
