Community Mental Health School Nurse

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is currently recruiting for a full time School Nurse/Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team.  This is a school and office-based position with predictable hours; no nights, weekends, holidays or on-call hours. Our nurses work closely with teams providing care management as well as being a liaison with primary care and other providers. Our approach to treatment is holistic, within an integrative psychiatry model.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Current Vermont RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Psychiatric and medical experience
  • Ability to promote, maintain and improve the health of student and school staff
  • Ability to work independently
