Behavior Consultant - CAT Program

The Collaborative Achievement Team (CAT) of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a Behavior Consultant to join their team! Behavior Consultants are responsible for conducting assessments and the creation, facilitation, and implementation of therapeutic, educational, and behavioral intervention plans for students within their school and community. Behavior Consultants also provide support to educational and behavioral staff, families, home and community-based support programs across a variety of settings.

The appropriate candidate will have knowledge in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and be able to take their findings to create behavior intervention plans for CAT Behavioral Interventionist staff and/or paraeducators working 1:1 in the public school setting.

Experience working with children implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services is a must, preferably experience with children with Emotional/Behavioral Disturbances.

Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Human Services or related field and/or be actively enrolled in an ABA program. This is an excellent opportunity for advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis – including opportunities for BCBA supervision.

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday – Hours 8am – 4pm – with some later days mixed in for supervisions
