MHFA – EMS Module done with AmCare

Lance Metayer (NCSS) and Stephanie Busch (Department of Health) recently facilitated a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – EMS Module training with AmCare.  This training certified 16 people in the MHFA – EMS Module and was held on 7/17 and 7/24.  The training focused on supporting patients experiencing mental health challenges as well as increasing provider self-care and recognizing the warnings signs of compassion fatigue and mental health challenges among EMS providers.
