Since 1958, Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, as a private, non-profit, human services agency has been serving Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. NCSS provides intervention and support to children, adolescents, and adults with emotional and behavioral problems; a mental illness diagnosis; an intellectual disability or developmental delay.
In addition, the services offered by NCSS promote well being by improving the underlying social determinants of health. These may include stable housing, food security, gainful employment, educational opportunities, and strong social connections.
