Our Elementary School Teachers provide a rigorous learning environment for their students, helping them develop as individuals as well as master the subjects they need to succeed. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans and then implementing those plans in the classroom, giving you the flexibility to tailor your lessons to both you and your students’ interests and strengths. More than anything else, Elementary School Teachers at Soar Learning Center get to develop their student’s unique talents and foster in them a passion for learning and growing!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach students in a classroom setting, managing their work output in the classroom and behavior on a daily basis.
  • Develop teaching and learning materials for use in class, including exams, homework, projects, and assignments that make use of all student skills.
  • Modify lesson plans and materials as needed to make them suitable for students’ current learning levels.
  • Monitor and track student progress and issue grades.
  • Maintain relationships with parents and legal guardians of students and keep them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and administrators, including special education teachers and Behavior Interventionists, to provide individualized support for each student.
  • Ensure that students meet educational standards and school performance goals for their grade level.
