Shared Living Provider – Young Woman

Attention caregivers and LNAs!! NCSS is seeking a motivated and energetic home care provider located in Northwestern Vermont to provide care for a young woman who loves to spend time going for car rides, being outside, watching TV and movies, and being read to. Children and pets are welcome with the right match. The Shared Living Provider is responsible for providing extensive personal care and assistance in activities of daily living in a home environment. She would be a full member of the household and expected to be treated as a member of your family. This young woman can be in her bedroom alone but requires constant supervision. She uses alternative communication as she is non-verbal. This position offers a generous stipend, provides additional out-of-home support for respite, outstanding team to collaborate with and additional trainings.

Candidates must:

• Have experience with and be comfortable providing extensive personal care and communication supports
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and work with a team
• Promote and provide a caring living space
• Be 21+ years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass background checks
