Shared Living Provider - Elderly Siblings

NCSS Developmental Services is looking for a Shared Living Provider to open their home and lives to 2 elderly individuals with developmental disabilities. The two individuals are outgoing and enjoy partaking in community events including playing bingo, going out to eat, doing arts and crafts, and shopping. The ideal Shared Living Provider would live in a single-story residence or have a first-floor bedroom available, be patient, encouraging, and enjoy having fun. Handicap accessible home preferred but not required. Individuals have doctors’ appointments in both Franklin and Chittenden Counties that would require transportation on the home provider's part.

Applicants must:

• Be able to promote independence and provide a caring living space
• Be 21+ years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Be willing to undergo our home inspection process and be willing to make adaptations if needed
• Pass background checks
