DS Residential Services Team Leader

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic leader who understands and will promote a person-centered approach for the individuals we serve and the services that we provide in residential homes to join our Developmental Services Division!

This position provides leadership to our residential homes and is responsible for staff recruitment, hiring, and maintaining staffing, maintaining the fiscal integrity of the program, afterhours support, as well as providing oversight and training to staff. Clients served in these settings have experienced criminal charges, aggressive behaviors, communication challenges, historical trauma, incarceration, and other public safety concerns. Close collaboration with State and Community Partners, NCSS Staff, as well as an understanding of the court system is critical.

Successful candidate will have effective communication and leadership skills, strong supervision skills, demonstrate critical thinking, have good attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to foresee future needs and build new programs, and the competence to build cohesive teams.
