Director of Behavioral Health

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. (NCSS) is seeking a seasoned leader to join our leadership team as the Director of Behavioral Health Services. We are a progressive Community Mental Health Center and have recently established several new programs for individuals who experience a range of mental health challenges The Behavioral Health Director position involves clinical & administrative leadership. The ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Developing strong collaborative community partnerships is integral to success. NCSS provides comprehensive services to children, youth and adults and has a long history of innovative programming in community settings. Responsibilities include leading a diverse team of clinical leaders, managing the division’s budget, collaborating regularly with NCSS leadership team, and collaborating with community partners.

A Master’s degree with licensure or eligibility in the State of Vermont is required. Experience with clinical & administrative leadership and interest in program development and ways to make different payment models work effectively is preferred.
