Childcare Referral & Eligibility Specialist

The Parent Child Center of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking an energetic professional to join the Early Childhood Resource team. The Childcare Referral and Eligibility Specialist works to support the Parent Child Center, childcare centers, and registered home providers in the Franklin/Grand Isle region. This position holds the roles of the Childcare Referral Specialist and Childcare Eligibility Specialist.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Consulting with clients regarding potential need and desire for childcare placement
• Assisting families with applying for financial assistance
• Collecting required documentation, determining eligibility, and connecting families to resources.

Knowledge of parenting strategies and child development milestones is required.
