Services within DS
The Developmental Services Division at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services provides community-based supports for children, adults, and families in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Our work is grounded in the belief that individuals with developmental disabilities should have access to meaningful opportunities that promote inclusion, independence, and choice.
We partner with individuals, families, and the community to deliver services that build life skills, support employment, and strengthen natural supports. Our person-centered approach ensures that those we serve guide the direction of their care, with staff supporting informed choice, personal growth, and active participation in their communities. Through collaboration and a commitment to respect, inclusion, and advocacy, we help individuals live fulfilling lives as valued and connected members of their communities.
