Dan is a CPA practicing in Vermont at Scheer & Hickey, P.C. He has bee on the board at NCSS for 16 years. Many as the board treasurer.
Dan is an active member in the Franklin County community. He has served on the boards of Franklin County Home Health, Make a Wish Foundation of Vermont, and United Way of Chittenden County. He has coached youth sports for more than thirty years, enjoying the opportunity to coach each of his five children in this capacity. He and his wife, Patty, currently enjoy visiting their youngest children who are still in college at the University of Kentucky and University of Vermont.
Dan has considerable professional experience in health care, but his primary incentive to become involved with Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) was his son, Liam. Liam suffers from autism spectrum disorder. He is 23 years old and has received services from NCSS since he was three.
In his spare time, Dan likes to spend time with Liam at outdoor concerts, riding golf carts. Or just going for long walks. Dan also enjoys golf, and Red Sox baseball.
