Harris Strokoff, MD, has been working with NCSS for much of the last 17 years, initially as Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in 2009, and then as a QA Reviewer, and then began serving as Psychiatrist and Medical Director since 2020. Dr Strokoff has an extensive background in psychiatric medicine and clinical leadership. Throughout his career, Dr. Strokoff has served in several senior clinical roles where he focused on the treatment of complex mental health conditions and the integration of medical and behavioral health services. His work has included the development of sustainable healthcare models within community settings.
Dr. Strokoff is dedicated to bridging the gap between physical and mental healthcare, ensuring that clinical interventions are holistic and coordinated across various departments and community partners.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Strokoff oversees the agency’s psychiatric services, provides clinical supervision to medical staff, and collaborates with the leadership team to enhance the quality of care provided to the residents of Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.
Dr. Strokoff earned his Medical Degree at Temple University in Philadelphia and completed his residency and fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. When he is not working, he enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with his family.
