We are seeking a Shared Living Provider who has an attached apartment, in-law suite, separate-entry finished basement, or another suitable private living space within or connected to their home for a woman in her 30s who currently lives independently.
She requires minimal emotional and physical support, with many supports being intermittent and not necessarily needed on a daily basis. This opportunity is a great fit for someone who values independence, privacy, and providing a welcoming home environment while being available to offer support when needed.
Support may include:
- Providing transportation to appointments and activities within the community
- Access to laundry and meals
- Offering companionship and social support, as requested
- Providing a safe, friendly, and supportive home environment
- Encouraging and maintaining her independence, privacy, and personal choice
- Being available to provide assistance with occasional needs as they arise
The ideal Shared Living Provider will be reliable, compassionate, respectful, and supportive of independent living. They should be comfortable providing occasional assistance while also respecting personal space, privacy, and choice.
The Shared Living Provider receives a tax-free stipend, along with room and board.
