We\u2019re emerging from a long, difficult haul.&nbsp; The pandemic is finally winding down after two years! And like so many Vermont businesses, the workforce impact at Washington County Mental Health Services was felt with significant turnover.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing is for sure; the need for our services has not abated.&nbsp; We knew the need for mental health and substance use treatment would increase dramatically as a result of people living in isolation, quarantine, and social distancing \u2013 what became a \u201cnew normal.\u201d Changes in our daily routine of freedoms including precautions, prohibitions, tests, more tests, masks, and legal and ethical challenges within our workplaces and communities tested us all.
