AFTERGLOW 2020 UPDATE:\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After much thought and many conversations, it is with deep regret we have decided to cancel Afterglow for 2020.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With the pandemic we have all been facing, we feel as though the risk was too great to hold the event this year and felt it is more important to keep the community safe.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are not giving up HOPE.\u00a0 We still want to make a difference and make a valiant effort to raise awareness of Suicide and Suicide Prevention.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Times are tough for everyone right now and mental health is important now more than ever.\u00a0 This pandemic has brought challenges for many across our community, our state, and the US. Remember to spread kindness, and to check in on your loved ones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In efforts to raise awareness and funds we have decided to reopen the Afterglow Online Store effective September 3, 2020.\u00a0 In the store you will find the popular black and blue Afterglow t-shirts, hats, posters, decals, sweatshirts, drinkware as well as all new Afterglow facemasks and neck gators\/buffs.\u00a0 In efforts to have the items delivered before the Out of Darkness Suicide Walk on September 26, 2020 in Burlington, the store is open until September 15th.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please help us spread the word about the Afterglow Online Store being open and place your order by September 15, 2020.\u00a0 All proceeds from items purchased will go to the St. Albans NCSS Suicide Prevention Programs.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In efforts to keep the spirit and momentum of Afterglow going, we invite all who would like to join the Afterglow Team of Walkers.\u00a0 The Out of Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk in Burlington will be Saturday, September 26th.\u00a0 Details are still in the planning stages so please stay tuned.\u00a0 If you are unable to join us for the walk and would still like to contribute, we would gladly accept your financial contributions to our team.\u00a0 These funds will go to the Vermont Suicide Chapter.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
