{"id":501,"date":"2020-04-06T14:58:39","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T14:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncssinc.org\/news\/?p=501"},"modified":"2020-04-10T17:02:28","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T17:02:28","slug":"governor-phil-scott-confirms-april-15-expiration-date-for-all-previously-closed-in-person-business-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncssinc.org\/news\/governor-phil-scott-confirms-april-15-expiration-date-for-all-previously-closed-in-person-business-operations\/","title":{"rendered":"GOVERNOR PHIL SCOTT CONFIRMS APRIL 15 EXPIRATION DATE FOR ALL PREVIOUSLY CLOSED IN-PERSON BUSINESS OPERATIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"field field-name-field-category field-type-taxonomy-term-reference field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\"><a href=\"https:\/\/governor.vermont.gov\/press_releases\">PRESS RELEASE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"page-title\" class=\"page__title title\">GOVERNOR PHIL SCOTT CONFIRMS APRIL 15 EXPIRATION DATE FOR ALL PREVIOUSLY CLOSED IN-PERSON BUSINESS OPERATIONS<\/h2>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-date field-type-datetime field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\"><span class=\"date-display-single\">03 APRIL 2020<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Montpelier, Vt. \u2013 Governor Phil Scott today issued an order clarifying the expiration date for two previous directives to ensure all are complying with his Stay Home, Stay Safe order until April 15 or beyond.<\/p>\n<p>This new order makes clear that any previous orders or directives that had an expiration date prior to April 15, are subject to the Stay Home, Stay Safe order, which means they must follow the in-person operation closure guidance until April 15.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, this is in reference to the Governor\u2019s orders closing bars and restaurants for dine-in service, and the Department of Motor Vehicles for in-person operation, which would have otherwise expired April 6.<\/p>\n<p>The April 15 expiration remains in place for the Governor\u2019s declared State of Emergency and all addenda covering mass gatherings, postponing non-essential medical procedures, business closures and his Stay Home, Stay Safe order.
