ALBANS CITY \u2014 Samantha Weber, the emergency services specialist embedded with the St. Albans Police Department, was one of four Vermont residents awarded the Unsung Heroes 2024 Mental Health Advocacy Award this past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given out by Vermont Care Partners, the award acknowledges often unrecognized individuals whose voice or actions have helped people experiencing mental health conditions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt means a lot to me and provides some evidence that this program means something to the community,\u201d Weber said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last six months, Northwestern Counseling &amp; Support Services tracked 288 contacts made through the program.
