The Academy of Learning Lead Facilitator

The Academy of Learning (AOL) is an “Independent Skills Building Program” that services adults with intellectual disabilities. AOL provides opportunities for individuals to engage in hands-on-learning through theme-based activities embedded within daily routines in their communities.

AOL is seeking a positive and energetic individual who would be responsible for:

• Curriculum building
• Facilitator training
• Outcomes reporting
• Hands-on teaching

Candidates must have a passion for creating a learning environment that fosters and motivates personal growth according to each served individual’s goals toward independence. Lead Facilitators must maintain effective relationships with their students, parents/home providers, agency contacts, co-facilitators, and community partners.
