Soar Learning Center PE/Health Teacher

Are you passionate about helping children develop physical abilities and healthy habits that can last a lifetime? Soar Learning Center is hiring a Physical Education/Health Teacher! In this position you will have the opportunity to create a classroom environment that fosters, promotes, and develops an understanding of the relationship between healthy body functions and exercise.

As a PE/Health Teacher at Soar Learning Center you will be responsible for:

• Motivating students to cultivate physical fitness and appropriate social/emotional adjustments
• Discovering and developing the talents of students in personal physical achievement
• Supporting all students in their personal development of strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination through individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports

Duties include:

• Adapting curriculum and preparing lessons to meet the individual needs of all students
• Collaboration with parents, guardians, special educators, and administrators to effectively implement Individualized Education Plans for students as needed
