Senior Behavior Interventionist - CAT Program

The Collaborative Achievement Team of Northwestern Counseling and Support Services are seeking a Senior Behavior Interventionist. The CAT Program serves children in Franklin & Grand Isle Counties within the framework of the public school system. The responsibilities of this position include providing training and modeling of interventions for new staff, providing substitute/temporary coverage due to the absence of the primary Behavior Interventionist (BI), and planning of community-based activities for students. The Senior BI will be responsible for supporting social, emotional and behavioral skills development within the constructs of an individualized behavior plan. This person will collaborate with other Senior BIs to plan and implement a 4 week CAT summer program. This is a full-time position that requires attendance throughout the scheduled school year including summer programming. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and work as a team member in supporting challenging children to achieve success in a public school setting. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field or in related Education field is required. This position will require a candidate to complete a minimum of one course of Applied Behavior Analysis per year. Preferred candidates will have 2-5 years of experience working as a BI or in an equivalent position. Flexibility with schedule and locations is needed as this position could potentially travel throughout Franklin and Grand Isle counties to a different school on a daily basis. The Senior BI Schedule is typically M-F, 7:30am - 3:30pm (school hours). This position is a full-time salaried position accompanied by a full benefits package and tuition reimbursement available!
