Respite Provider

One of our families is looking for an active individual to provide every-other-weekend Respite support to a bright, happy, social, 24-year-old deaf woman with a supportive family who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. 

This position has potential to entail assisting this individual with various activities in the community such as Physical Therapy and swimming. Individual has a handicap accessible van available for staff to use. Must be willing to assist with personal care.

Developmental Services
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred. Must be okay with performing personal care needs for consumer. Valid drivers license, and a passed background screening. Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
