The HR Recruiter will be responsible for the following:
Administration of the Agency’s recruiting functions including advertisement preparation, placement, and applicant tracking. Identify, recommend, and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain staff and support diversity within hiring.
Responsible for delivery of all facets of recruiting success, through the development of traditional and new creative strategies and sources including utilization of internet, social media, and professional networking.
Performs outreach activities to support agency wide recruiting initiatives including engaging in direct recruitment through attendance at events such as college career fairs, local job fairs, colleges and universities. Coordinates recruiting initiatives and develops working relationships with colleges, which includes presentations to increase awareness about NCSS.
Works with analytical tools, metrics and, tracking systems to maintain applicants and hires; analyzes expenses, advertising source ROI, and vacancies.
Builds strong relationships with management staff to ensure the ability to guide, influence and drive a continually enhanced recruiting process.
Partners with hiring managers in writing recruitment advertisements for publishing in all modes of media, schools, career fairs, placement agencies and other recruiting vendors.
Screens, processes and maintains all applicants’ resumes; continually and actively “mine” new and on-file resumes for best fit solutions across the Agency.
Facilitates offers of employment starting with the candidate experience, scheduling final interviews with Executive Director as applicable, offer letter creation and employee onboarding.
Performs comprehensive background and reference check functions and credential verifications, including submission, tracking, analysis, and follow-up.
Oversees internship, volunteer and mentor programs.
Performs general HR Department functions, including routine correspondence and a variety of liaison activities with others, including staff, applicants, interns, outside vendors and providers.
Performs general HR Department administration in operational areas of human resource, in an environment requiring detail focus and accuracy; sensitivity, diplomacy and confidential functioning.
