Health Information Specialist*

Our Administration Division is seeking a Health Information Specialist to process medical records requests and ensure record compliance.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Researching medical records requests
  • Copying and running appropriate documentation through ROI for transmission
  • Performing compliance checks on records access
  • Acting as the liaison between NCSS and primary care physicians as well as other requesting parties

Successful candidates will:

  • Be detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Be computer/tech savvy
  • Possess strong customer service and time management skills
  • Have a desire for continuous learning

Qualified candidates must:

  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Demonstrate and maintain strict confidentiality
