Are you inspired to provide care and attention to another? To be part of that person’s daily life and help them to grow? Do you have skills in American Sign Language, and respect for people who are differently-abled? Then we may have the job for you!

We are looking for an active individual to provide part-time contracted community support services to a bright, happy, social, 24-year-old deaf woman with a supportive family who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. 

This position would entail assisting this individual with various activities in the community such as Physical Therapy and swimming. Individual has a handicap accessible van available for staff to use. Staff must be willing to assist with personal care.

Staff must be willing to be trained on Special Care Procedures by NCSS nurse. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid drivers license, and a passed background screening. Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to learn is required. ASL classes are offered at no cost to you. If interested, please contact Jessica Carswell at 802-370-4025.
