Community Support Worker/Employment Specialist

The Community Rehabilitation & Treatment (CRT) Team is looking for a strong team player to provide case management services to adults with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering services in a variety of community-based settings related to supportive counseling, symptom management, activities of daily living, social and interpersonal skills development, money management, and advocacy.
• Assisting clients with their employment search and job development.
• Seeking out area employers while maintaining strong customer relations.
• Developing collaborative relationships with area employers to ensure future placements.
• Transporting identified clients to their employment placement in a timely manner.

Skills required:

• Positive attitude, team-oriented and organization are key skills!
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however an Associate’s Degree in the Human Services field and/or relevant experience will be considered.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to transport clients.
• Case management with mental health experience is a plus; however we will train the right individual.
