Community Support Specialist (CYF)

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? NCSS is seeking Community Support Specialist's to provide emotional and behavioral skill-building supports to children and adolescents in order to build healthy community connections. Can't commit to full-time work? We will entertain part-time candidates!

Responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with families to help support each child’s social and emotional growth.  
  • Coordinating services and perspectives across the client’s treatment team of providers.  

Candidates must:

  • Be comfortable working with children of different ages, providing one-on-one treatment across all environments (home, school, and community).
  • Be self-motivated, organized, and a team player.
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field; 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate. 
  • Hours are M-F and services are generally delivered in the afternoons and evenings.
