Community Support Specialist

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? NCSS is seeking a Community Support Specialist to provide emotional and behavioral skill-building supports to children and adolescents in order to build healthy community connections.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Consult with families to help support each child’s social and emotional growth.  
  • Coordinate services and perspectives across the client’s treatment team of providers.  
  • Comfortable working with children of different ages, providing one-on-one treatment across all environments (home, school, community).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a team player.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field required with 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred. 
  • Hours are M-F and services are generally delivered in the afternoons and evenings.
