ACES Navigator

The Parent Child Center of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking an energetic professional to join the Early Childhood Resource team. The ACES Navigator works with childcare centers and registered home providers in the Franklin/Grand Isle region. They will provide on-site consultation to providers to help them connect families and children with resources to meet needs. They will also provide consultation in supporting and building resiliency and social/emotional competencies in children with barriers related to adverse childhood experiences (ACES). Knowledge of parenting strategies and child development milestones is required. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of ACES, the Strengthening Families framework, Resiliency tools, and Early Multi-Tiered System of Support (EMTSS). In addition to provider visits this position will be involved in supporting the early childhood system with a role in Building Bright Futures and the regional council. This position includes a lot of daily travel, opportunities for professional development, and support from a committed team at NCSS.  Benefits include medical/dental, retirement savings, tuition reimbursement, 15 days personal account time in the first year, and 11 paid holidays.

Valid driver's license, child development knowledge, experience working with childcare centers and registered home providers, knowledge of ACES tools and resiliency frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in a human service field required, Master's degree would be a plus.
