Behavior Consultant - CAT

The Collaborative Achievement Team (CAT) of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a Behavior Consultant to join or team. The Behavior Consultant role involves responsibilities that include assessment, creation, facilitation and implementation of therapeutic, educational and behavioral interventions for students within their schools and communities. This position requires actively making recommendations to providers for programming along with training, guiding and supporting educational and behavioral staff, families, home and community-based support providers in a variety of settings. The appropriate candidate will be able to implement Functional Behavior Assessments and take these findings to create behavioral intervention plans for CAT Behavioral Interventionist staff and/or paraeducators. Experience working with children requiring Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services is a must, preferably experience with children with Emotional/Behavioral Disturbances.
Master's Degree in Human Services or related field and/or be actively enrolled in an ABA program. This is an excellent opportunity for advanced training in ABA including opportunities for BCBA supervision.
