Autism Behavior Consultant

The School Based Autism Team is searching for a Behavior Consultant to join their clinical team!  Consultants primarily hold a caseload of 6-8 clients within any of our public schools in Franklin and/or Grand Isle Counties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments in the public school setting.
  • Writing Behavior Support Plans.
  • Training Behavior Interventionists to implement the plan both on and off-site.
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision and training of Behavior Interventionists.
  • Analyzing, graphing, and presenting data to school teams.
  • Collaborating with NCSS, school staff, and families to provide comprehensive supports to our clients ages 4-22 with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.

In addition to the technical components and knowledge of the theory of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this position will also promote and model the mission and values of the NCSS community. Our team embraces the philosophy of Lencioni's Team Dysfunctions curriculum and actively works to incorporate this into our daily work practices. The ideal candidate will help to foster the positive growth of our team through this model.

  • Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to both teach and learn from others.
  • Knowledge and experience in ABA with minimum enrollment in Graduate coursework to pursue BCBA/BCaBA.
  • Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of public relations with community members, and will demonstrate professional and collaborative efforts within our clinical team and our program at large.
