Applied Behavior Services Behavior Consultant

The Applied Behavior Services team is looking for a Behavior Consultant to assist Team Leader with behavioral support consulting using principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), as well as other identified modalities as appropriate. This position represents a unique opportunity to help with the development of a growing program and shape how services are delivered to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders in the home and community settings throughout Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.  The ABS Behavior Consultant will be responsible for completing both skill acquisition and functional behavior assessments, as well as developing behavior intervention plans that are consistent with best practice and ethical guidelines of ABA.  The ABS Behavior Consultant will also provide feedback and training to ABS Behavior Specialists.  The ABS Behavior Consultant may also provide direct service as determined by supervising Team Leader or Program Manager.

This position requires team work, flexibility, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills. Advanced knowledge and graduate work in applied behavior analysis. In depth conceptual and practical knowledge of applied behavior analysis and the ability to guide others in its use and technologies is essential. Ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and public speaking skills.
Master's Degree in applied behavior analysis or related field; or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
