Wellness Counselor

Contribute to an exciting new initiative designed to increase access and outcomes for individuals served in a specialty care setting.  The Wellness Counselor works full-time in a specialty care medical setting and works closely with an interdisciplinary community health team serving Northwestern Vermont.  Activities involve consultation with specialty care providers, implementing screening protocols for mental health and substance use disorders, linking patients with necessary services, and providing short-term solution focused care.  Seeking a full-time therapist who is familiar with a range of mental health and substance use disorders and values team based care.  The ideal candidate will have experience organizing and running groups, providing care coordination for patients receiving buprenorphine treatment, and be licensed as: LCMHC, LICSW, or LADC.  The specialty care clinic is located close to Interstate 89 and is a short commute from Burlington and surrounding areas.
