Truancy Specialist

Come to work in one of the most beautiful settings in the country and make a real difference in the life of a child! The Truancy Specialist works with an identified K-8th grade student, their family, school and broader system of care to improve student’s attendance at school. Specialist is responsible for regular contact with students, guardians, school staff and other providers to ensure consistent and accurate communication and effective proactive problem solving, attending Truancy Implementation Panel meetings; and for actively promoting school attendance awareness among families, school staff and the broader community through newsletters, webpage and other means of outreach.

Positive attitude; strong communication & collaboration skills; math, strong writing and computer skills, especially work and excel; strengths-based approach to delivering care.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services is required.
