Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports Consultant

This is a rare opportunity to step into an exciting new position and help shape the way behavioral services are delivered in local schools.  NCSS is hiring a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports Consultant to work with a local school to play an instrumental role in developing the school's PBIS framework, support an identified caseload of students through individualized behavior plans, work with administration to build internal school capacity, and help facilitate care coordination across home, school, and community settings.  The PBIS consultant will be responsible for forming and maintaining effective working relationships with school personnel, designing and implementing individual behavior support plans, and identifying needs within the school structure which fall under the auspices of the position.  Master’s degree preferred, candidates with a Bachelor’s willing to pursue graduate training will be considered. BCBA or BCaBA’s, or those willing to pursue certification, are preferred.  For the right individual this is an excellent opprotunity to utilize a unique skill set in a way that maximizes creativity and collaboration.
