Developmental Educator

The Family Center of NCSS seeks an individual with experience working with families and a desire to work in early childhood. This position with the Parent Child Center requires knowledge of developmental milestones, parenting strategies, community resources, and the ability to provide supports in homes, child care, as well as team settings. Developmental Educators provide family support, parent education, and service coordination to address child and family goals.  Knowledge of child development birth to three is necessary, and knowledge of developmental delays and children with medical/genetic disorders is preferred. This position provides excellent benefits including medical, dental, paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, retirement plan and educational assistance. Please send a letter of interest, three references, and a résumé to Heather Wilson, Team Leader.

1-2 years experience with children and families in a human services role, knowledge of early childhood development, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
