Seeking energetic male candidates to provide weekend respite services for a man living in Elmore, who is deaf. Receive a generous reimbursement while providing a learning environment, with consistent role modeling. We are looking for individuals that are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) or willing to learn through accelerated ASL training. Looking for candidates with positive attitude; supportive presence; flexible schedule; prior experience working with people who have intellectual disabilities; and the ability to provide a highly structured, consistent, and therapeutic environment. This is an opportunity to truly make a difference in the life of another individual who truly wants to be part of a stable home. Experience working with individuals with significant behavioral challenges. Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and allow for background screenings.
