Contracted/Respite Staff - Deaf Services

We are seeking energetic male candidates, with flexible schedules, to provide weekday and/or weekend overnight respite services for a male who is deaf. This position is located in Elmore, VT.  This is an opportunity to truly make a difference in the life of another individual who wants to be part of a stable home.  Candidates must possess a positive attitude; supportive presence; and prior experience working with people who have intellectual disabilities and/or significant behavioral challenges.  Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) or willing to learn through an accelerated ASL training is a plus.  After intensive training, you will have gained the ability to provide a highly structured, consistent, and therapeutic environment.
