The Autism Behavioral Consultant's responsibilities will primarily be carried out within a public school and community and include assessment, creation, facilitation and the implementation of therapeutic, educational and behavioral interventions for students with various diagnoses (Axis I and Axis II, however primary diagnoses include Autism Spectrum, PDD, Intellecual Disability, and Developmental Delay Categories).  This position requires actively making recommendations to providers for programming along with training, guiding and supporting educational and behavioral staff, families, home and community based support providers in a variety of settings.  The appropriate candidate will be able to implement functional behavior assessments and take these findings to create behavioral intervention plans for NCSS Behavioral Interventionist staff and/or paraeducators working in various local public schools.  Candidates must be team players and understand the complexities of the diverse teams we serve; as this team opperates on a family-centered and team approach.  Knowledge, including implementation/creation of discrete trials, task analysis and behavioral assessments, preferred.

Experience working with children needing ABA services is a must, specifically experience with children on the Autism Spectrum.
BCBA and/or BCaBA preferred; however willing to accept candidates that are actively involved or have completed a Master’s Degree program in ABA with a goal to obtain a BCBA/BCaBA. BCABA candidates are encouraged to apply as well.

Schedule is typically M-F, 8-4 or 9-5 with some flexibility with earlier start or later end times to accommodate school, home and staff meetings before or after school.
$17.83 - $22.29 Hourly equivalent.
