Enhanced Camp Vision:

To provide a fun, stimulating, creative summer camp experience in which to refresh and strengthen behavioral, communication, social and academic skill in preparation for the next school year to children with a diagnosis of Autism or other developmental disability.

Camp Goals:

To offer activities in a Theme Day structure, addressing 5 core areas:

        Sensory

        Fine/Gross motor

        Communication

        Academic

        Social

Campers will participate in the activities, and follow a schedule, with the support of volunteer staff or the staff that comes with them.  Each activity will have a designated Leader.  This Activity Leader will be educated in the goals of the activity and how to encourage participation.  [We’re trying to achieve the effect of being in school, following Teacher’s directions with the support of a Para-Educator.]
